- Review patient information and documentation to assess eligibility for Medicaid, Medicare, and other health programs.
- Collect and verify required documentation such as income verification, identification, and residency
- Communicate directly with applicants to clarify their eligibility and assist with any needed documentation.
- Provide bilingual assistance to patients and their families in both English and Spanish explaining eligibility requirements, benefits, and application processes.
- Answer inquiries about benefits, application status, and eligibility changes through phone, email, or in-person interactions.
- Assist patients in completing Medicaid, Medicare, and other healthcare application forms.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Previous experience in healthcare eligibility, patient services, or insurance verification is preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and other healthcare programs and insurance processes is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
