Job Description
A successful Billing Specialist in this role will excel at analyzing and resolving billing issues while collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations. They will leverage their strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify process improvements, test system changes, and recommend enhancements for efficiency. By demonstrating excellent communication, organizational abilities, and customer service skills, they will effectively manage billing inquiries, maintain accuracy, and contribute to overall financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Handle billing processes, ensuring accurate processing and resolution of customer and system issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address billing inquiries, policy changes, and account discrepancies.
- Analyze billing discrepancies and unusual transactions, recommending system and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent math skills and statistical analysis
- Proficient with computer applications such as Excel, Word, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The base salary range for this position is $18.50–$22.50 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
