Job Description
We are seeking an operator responsible for learning all aspects of the production operation such as loading/unloading bulk sugar, melt processing, batching, mixing and packaging by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for equipment start up and observation of possible malfunctions
- Execute melt, bulk load/unloading, and packaging processes according to process/procedure
- Batch Mixer/Chemical Operator
- Performs quality control in accordance to standardized process/procedure
- Replenishes packaging supplies as necessary
- Open to cross-functional training in all areas of operation
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar industry required
- Prior experience operating a forklift preferred
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education

The base salary range for this position is from $20.00 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
