Job Description
Finance Operations is seeking a Business Systems Consultant to support the Finance/Actuary/Investment Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Release Train. This role involves supporting Finance & Actuarial (F&A) initiatives, operational enhancements, and warranty/production support. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, financial systems/reporting, and end-to-end business process knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying, developing, and evaluating new opportunities to meet business requirements.
- Coordinate and plan ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and upgrades to existing business tools.
- Perform business impact analysis and research.
- Review, analyze, and test new software applications and equipment.
- Develop and execute test plans.
- Implement communication and training plans for internal and external business associates and customers.
- Prepare project outcome information for necessary parties.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Primary Skill Required: Business System Consultant Skills
- Second Skill Required: Strong communication skills (verbal, email, written)
- Third Skill Required: Experience in insurance or financial services
- Proven results in project work, partnering with business stakeholders, and gathering and refining requirements.
- Ability to translate between business and IS.
- Leadership skills to identify and address issues.
- Experience with ERP systems, data analytics, and financial data warehouses.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Hyperion/Essbase, Cloud applications, Data Warehouses, SAP Business Objects, and SQL.

The Pay Rate range for this position is $30-$40 per hour, excluding benefits. Your final Pay Rate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
