Job Description:
Join a well-established Cardiology clinic as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician and become an essential part of their clinical team. In this role, you will perform all echocardiographic assessments and analyze patient medical histories to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all modalities of echocardiography including 2D, M-Mode, Color Flow, Doppler, Stress, Pharmacologic, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms
- Analyze patient clinical history and tailor exams to answer clinical questions effectively
- Conduct quantitative analysis of echocardiographic studies including EF, wall motion, diastolic function, and valvular assessment
- Perform strain measurements and report on critical values
- Prepare, clean, and disinfect ultrasound equipment per procedure protocols and maintain cleaning logs
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active CPR Certification
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician in a physician's office or clinic
