Bilingual Case Manager
Pay Rate: $21/hr.
Location: Houston, Texas 77006 OR 77057
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
A non-profit organization is seeking a Case Manager to join their team. With your strong organization and communication skills, you will profoundly impact the organization by conducting intakes, providing orientations, providing services, and maintaining documentation. Submit your resume today!
Responsibilities:
- Assess client eligibility, complete intake and orientation, and create individualized service plans.
- Assess whether a client is eligible to receive social services benefits.
- Ensure that services are provided in accordance with LEP policy.
- Advocate for clients with social service agencies.
- Maintain client’s file and case notes.
- Perform duties as assigned such as assisting with outreach and participating in: staff retreats, United Way tours, agency fairs, etc.
List Qualification or Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be bilingual in English and one of the following languages: Spanish, Arabic, Ukrainian, Tigrinya, Afghan language, Pashto, Dari, or Swahili
- One or more years of experience in an administrative setting or within refugee populations.
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
