Job Description
The Cash Application Specialist will handle daily cash receipts, post payments to customer accounts, and address unapplied amounts while maintaining accurate records for audit purposes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a commitment to confidentiality and integrity. Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash receipts, including credit card payments, EFTs, wire transfers, and checks, ensuring timely and accurate posting to customer accounts.
- Research and resolve unapplied payments, discrepancies, and account adjustments, including credits, debits, and write-offs.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of cash applications for auditing purposes, including remittances, bank statements, and approved adjustments.
- Collaborate with Collections and Deductions Specialists to address account-related issues and support collection efforts.
- Assist center management and the Accounts Receivable Manager with cash receipt inquiries, applications, bankruptcies, and related concerns.
- Import and balance daily sales batches, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing account-related inquiries and ensuring confidentiality in all processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in customer service or insurance related role/processes

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
