The Tax Return Clerk is responsible for reviewing and processing tax returns, checking for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring signatures are marked and filed appropriately. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment. The work is repetitive, but accuracy and speed are key to success. The position is temporary, running through approximately April 15th.
• Check tax returns for signatures and correct placement of signature lines
• File completed tax returns in an organized and accurate manner
• Make copies of tax returns and maintain organized records
• Answer phones and provide customer service as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
• Strong organizational and filing skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to answer phones
