Job Description
As the Clinic Clerk, you will perform various clerical duties to support the WIC Program. Seize this opportunity to utilize your clinical or administrative work experience and take your career to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, check-in/outpatients, schedule appointments, and assist around the clinic.
- Complete and evaluate residency, identification, income, and immunizations eligibility documents.
- Explain WIC Program procedures, use of Texas WIC card, and food benefits to clients.
- Conduct community outreach and provide referrals for clients needing services not provided by WIC.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- One (1) year of clinical or administrative work experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Translation services are to be provided; languages other than English are required.
- EMR: Epic experience and Adobe Pro are a strong plus.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
