Introduction Statement:
An all-encompassing position operating assigned machinery and/or equipment operation and/or the physical loading/unloading of materials in a safe and productive manner in accordance with Operational Standard Work and supervisor instructions. In Carol Stream, IL.
What Matters Most:
- Operate tube fabrication machine in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate automated cut-off saw in a safe and efficient manner.
- Set up, change tooling. Perform preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot production issues, making minor adjustments, quality inspection.
- Operate automated cut-off saw in a safe and efficient manner. Load, unload, and sort material by length.
What You Need:
- High school diploma or GED High School/Equivalent OR good reading, writing, & speaking skills in English with the ability to read and interpret product drawings, BOMs.
- At least 2 years’ Experience in production operations including CNC machining, general machining, understanding of metric system a plus, polishing, & assembly; Machining certification a plus. Experience running a Studer a plus.
