DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- BS in IT/IS , Health Information Management or Equivalent
- 2+ years of experience working medical records, file systems, chart completion, personnel management and records management
- RHIA or RHIT highly desired or ready to acquire
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As a DIRECTOR OF HIM , you will oversee the collection, maintenance, and protection of patient health records. You will also ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, while managing the accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality of medical documentation. Additionally, you will work with hospital leadership to optimize health information systems and support data-driven decision-making for patient care and operational efficiency.
