- 5+ years of experience in Food Manufacturing environments and proven ability to put processed in place with successful return
- Certifications in Food Safety and Occupational Health
- 5+ Strong Risk Assessment and Hazard Management Skills
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As a FOOD MANUFACTURING SAFETY CONSULTANT, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of food production operations by identifying potential hazards, implementing effective safety practices, and advising on regulatory adherence.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Conduct Safety Audits and Inspections: Regularly inspect the facility to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations such as FDA, USDA, and FSMA.
- Develop and Implement Food Safety Programs: Create and enforce food safety protocols, including HACCP plans, sanitation procedures, and allergen control programs, tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Train and Educate Employees: Provide training on safety standards, food handling, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures to ensure the workforce is well-informed and compliant.
- Monitor Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on food safety laws and regulations, ensuring the facility follows them and is prepared for inspections, audits, or certifications.
- Identify and Mitigate Risks: Conduct hazard analysis to assess and address potential risks (e.g., contamination, accidents, or equipment malfunction) and recommend corrective actions to ensure a safe production environment.
