Job Description:
The Estimating/ Engineering Technician is responsible for assisting the department by working with new and future vendors during the quote process, managing ECN’s, and supporting the department as required. The Process Engineer is responsible for creating/ developing drawings for the shop floor, assisting with the input of the ERP System (Routings, BOM, etc.), manage the ECN process, cell design/ layout, time studies/ standards, and assist production with continuous improvement ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Operating within the framework and required procedures and processes of the QMS during the Sales Estimating Process.
- Prepare quotes for the Estimating department by creating electronic and hard copy folders as well as creating the final documentation to send to the customer, estimating parts for customer projects. Communicate pricing to Customers and Customer Service
- Maintaining an up–to–date quote log by entering in and tracking quotes, populating all fields for Sales.
- Support department by getting pricing, delivery and vendor capability information as required.
- Assist in the RFQ Process when additional information may be required from vendors.
- Monitoring a new, revised or existing program from cradle to grave (New Product Launches, Shop Floor Production Projects)
- Working with customers in resolving engineering/estimating issues on new projects and able to help the customer design parts when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering, or another related field
- Experience: 1-2 years or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Products, Auto-CAD, Solid Modeling Experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical prints
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and report information back to supervisor

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $15.00 – 23.00 per hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
