3rd shift 10:25pm – 7:15am Sunday – Friday

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to support production needs by maintaining all production and support equipment as well as building systems. This role is temp to perm and crucial for optimizing equipment performance and minimizing downtime in a high-volume, high-speed manufacturing environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a facilities maintenance controls technician on automated assembly equipment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CMMS experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Highly disciplined, logical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team spirit.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Competent in safely using various hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, and sketches.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
Your new role: The Maintenance Technician will focus on ensuring the effective operation of all production equipment and systems, supporting preventive maintenance efforts to maximize equipment availability and improve overall process performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair machines and systems; assist engineering and plant staff with the installation and modification of integrated systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule to ensure peak equipment performance; conduct corrective maintenance as needed.
- Support diagnostics for PLC, vision, and motor software systems.
- Install and modify integrated systems to enhance equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information necessary for equipment maintenance, changeovers, and testing.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment testing and operation in a CMMS.
- Ensure that assigned equipment and work areas are safe, clean, and orderly.
- Coordinate compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (FDA, EPA, OSHA, ISO, EEOC) related to manufacturing processes and safety standards.
- Participate in special projects as they arise.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
