Facilities Maintenance Technician II
2nd shift 2:45pm – 11:15pm Monday – Friday
Competitive pay range of $32.50 -$38.50

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to support a plant’s production needs. This role is essential for maintaining all production and support equipment as well as building systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime in a high-volume, high-speed manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a facilities maintenance controls technician on automated assembly equipment.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CMMS.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
Your new role: The Maintenance Technician will focus on ensuring that production equipment, plant support equipment, and building systems operate effectively to meet production goals. You will actively manage troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs, aiming to maximize equipment availability and optimize production performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair machines and systems; assist engineering and plant staff with the installation and modification of integrated systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates at peak performance; conduct corrective maintenance as needed.
- Support diagnostics for PLC, vision, and motor software systems.
- Install and modify integrated systems to enhance equipment performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for maintenance, changeovers, and equipment testing.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment testing and operation in a CMMS.
- Ensure assigned equipment and work areas are kept safe, clean, and orderly.
- Coordinate compliance with all regulatory requirements (FDA, EPA, OSHA, ISO, EEOC) related to manufacturing processes and safety.
- Participate in special projects as they arise.
