Your New Role as a Furnishing Technician:
Join a dedicated team responsible for the delivery, installation, disassembly, and reconfiguration of furniture systems within Healthcare facilities. You will ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while maintaining healthcare environments. This role also includes furniture repair, maintenance, and product documentation to support healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily furniture installation, delivery, disassembly, and reconfiguration
- Ensure timely and efficient movement of furniture and related products
- Transport furniture between Parkview facilities and warehouses
- Assist with required documentation for healthcare furniture compliance
- Utilize packing crates and 4-wheel dollies for transportation
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret construction and CAD installation drawings
- Ability to field measure worksites for installation preparation
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds independently and 300 pounds with assistance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Indiana driver’s license required
Work Schedule & Conditions:
- Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM-3:00 PM & Friday: 6:00 AM-10:00 AM
- No on-call responsibilities
- Work as part of a team; no solo shifts required
- Dress Code: Khaki pants, polo shirt, work boots or shoes
Training & Orientation:
- Basic training provided upon hire
- Hands-on experience with proper lifting techniques and furniture packing
- Work closely with experienced team members to ensure smooth onboarding
