Job Description:
The job involves picking loads from the warehouse using a forklift, loading trucks, and completing related paperwork, including loading flatbeds and vans with finished products. Responsibilities also include operating a nail gun, using hand tools, and handling various tasks like changing lift truck fuel tanks and moving packages weighing up to 70 lbs., often requiring the use of stairs. The role requires adherence to safety policies, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring machine guards and safety features are functional, along with experience in lockout/tagout procedures. Additional duties include operating computers for shipping manifests, performing housekeeping tasks, and following supervisor-directed assignments while adhering to work location rules and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Picking loads for shipment from the warehouse using a forklift, loading trucks, and completing related paperwork.
- Must be able to receive, handle, and carry miscellaneous packages from shipping carriers weighing up to 70 lbs, including moving up and down stairs.
- Follows all applicable safety policies and practices, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring machine guards and safety features are working.
- Will be responsible for operating computers to create shipping manifests with minimal supervision, with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently and perform frequent physical tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, pulling, pushing, twisting, and grasping.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 1-2 years of prior manufacturing production experience required within the applicable skill set for the position.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and material handling, with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

The base salary range for this position is $16.00/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
