We are seeking a highly skilled Grinder Machinist to join our dynamic team at a leading manufacturing company located in East Hartford, CT.

DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is beneficial.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and CNC programs.
- At least three years of experience with Centerless Grinders.
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As the Grinder Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision grinding machines to produce high-quality parts. This role involves working with advanced CNC grinding machines, such as Cincinnati, Royal Master, and Kellenberger and may include in-feed, thru-feed, O.D., and bar grinding processes.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Interpret technical documents such as blueprints and operation sheets to perform machining tasks.
- Set up machines independently, ensuring proper adjustments and tooling for optimal performance.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain equipment through routine maintenance and ensure the workspace remains organized.
- Accurately log production activities and report any issues to supervisors.
