Job Description
The HRIS Administrator will support the HRIS system by troubleshooting issues, ensuring data integrity, and overseeing system configurations. The role involves writing, maintaining, and supporting reports using HRIS tools, as well as troubleshooting and suggesting improvements for processes and workflows. The Administrator will collaborate with HRIS users from different departments to ensure system integration, provide training, and assist in system upgrades or patches. As a project manager, they will ensure successful system changes and coordinate with IT teams as necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support for HRIS, researching and resolving issues, unexpected results, or process flaws.
• Develop, maintain, and administer standard reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools.
• Ensure the integrity of data by running queries and performing analysis.
• Serve as the time and attendance system administrator.
• Coordinate system configuration and testing for time and attendance and other ancillary systems.
• Act as the point person for system integration, ensuring alignment between the organizational structure and system code.
• Review and suggest workflow improvements, working closely with HR partners to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and maintain process manuals, guidelines, and documentation.
• Provide training to staff and new system users on processes and functionalities.
• Assist with the testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches.
• Serve as Project Manager for system and process changes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of information systems experience.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of HR processes, data, and benefit procedures.
o Experience with HRIS database design, structure, and tools.
o Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with report writing applications.
o Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
o Ability to train others effectively and resolve complex problems.
• Preferred Experience:
o 1-2 years of database/project management/systems implementation experience.
o Experience with reporting tools such as Cognos, Crystal, Business Intelligence, or SQL.
o Experience in coding, configuration, testing, and error resolution.
