Job Description:
As the Human Resources Manager for a busy non-profit medical facility, you will facilitate communication between staff and newly hired personnel to support organ and tissue donations for transplant recipients. Must have previous work experience with direct reports within the HR department.
What you will be doing:
- Manages key Human Resources functions under the guidance of the Associate Director and Senior Vice President of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Oversees daily HR operations, special projects, and events.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws and applies expertise across all HR disciplines, such as recruitment, retention, employee relations, benefits, compensation, FMLA, DEI, training, and worker’s compensation.
- Aligns HR strategies with the organization’s goals, providing tailored solutions for both employees and managers.
- Facilitates communication between departments, manages documentation and records, and ensures efficient workflow while exercising sound judgment and initiative.
What is Required:
- B.A./B.S. degree in Human Resources
- Knowledge is generally acquired through a Bachelor’s college-level education with an additional five years of work-related experience.
- Ability to identify and organize priorities, coordinate projects, and must be able to work independently.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Basic working knowledge of a fully integrated Human Resource and Payroll system including Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated a high level of discretion, confidentiality, initiative, and judgment.
- Must demonstrate thoughtful problem-solving techniques and possess excellent communication skills.
