Job Description:
An Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery, equipment, and systems within an industrial setting. Their duties include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing or replacing defective components to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. They conduct inspections to identify potential problems, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain accurate maintenance records. Additionally, they work with various tools and diagnostic equipment to assess system performance and collaborate with engineers and production staff to implement improvements. Preventative maintenance is a key aspect of their role, helping to extend equipment lifespan and enhance efficiency. Strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair or replace defective components to minimize downtime
- Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures
- Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Use diagnostic tools to assess system performance
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve equipment efficiency
- Perform preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to pass a drug screening test
- Must have experience working in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision

The base salary range for this position is $41,600-$45,760 excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
