Inside Sales Representative
$24.00-$33.00 hr., DOE
Meriden, CT
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
We have a great opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative in our client’s Meriden, CT location. This position has become available due to the expansion of their sales department to meet growing demand.
The Inside Sales representative will work within the sales department, reporting directly to the Sales Manager. Responsibilities include supporting the sales team with administrative tasks, managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Responsibilities:
- Quote customer in person, over phone, and via email
- Coordinate lead times from shop to customer
- Develop your own customer base and nurture their accounts
- Enter orders into the computer and communicate with department supervisors
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in Inside Sales in an industrial setting
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills required
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PC applications
- Must be accurate, energetic, and demonstrate initiative
- Strong organizational skills; ability to follow instructions, procedures, and policies
