Job Description
As an Intake worker, you will be responsible for tracking and entering client information, applications, and various related documentation, as well as coordinating with local service agencies and utility companies.
Responsibilities:
- Complete, gather information, and account for LIHEAP forms.
- Copy all verification documents
- Verify all applicants/households meet income requirements, notify applicants of their application status
- Interview clients, and enter client’s data into the online portal
- File and Mail customer application copies and determination letters.
- Coordinate with local service agencies and utility companies
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to type 20 wpm
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to calculate monthly and annual household income.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, as well as good interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift/move 10 to 25 lbs.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the above is the range is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
