Job Description
The Internal Audit Director leads the organization's audit function, overseeing the development and execution of audit plans to assess and enhance risk management, control processes, and governance. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, drives operational efficiency, and provides strategic insights to senior management and the board.
Responsibilities:
- Manage audit staff
- Work directly with CFO and other senior leadership to manage current risk and internal controls
- Implement and manage strategies to mitigate risk exposures
- Create reports and present information as necessary
- Research systems and other processes and procedures to implement or enhance internal controls
Qualifications and Requirements:
- CPA or CIA certifications are required
- 5+ years of experience in internal audit
- Management experience – managed direct reports

The base salary range for this position is $97,000 – $121,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
