Job Description
Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage investment data with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will proactively ensure investment transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and reported while collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. A continuous improvement mindset, adaptability to change, and a strong commitment to process enhancements will be essential for optimizing investment accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage investment transactions by recording, validating, and reconciling data within the investment system and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze regulatory reports for various investment types, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal financial reporting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address accounting inquiries, enhance investment data accuracy, and support audits.
- Continuously seek process improvements, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to strategic projects that align with corporate financial goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2 -4 years insurance accounting or applicable public accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of insurance industry-specific GAAP and statutory accounting concepts
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
