Job Description Our client has been an industry leader in the Danville, VA area for over 9 years. Due to service expansion, we are currently searching for motivated self-starters to fill their open positions. 1st and 2nd shift opportunities are available. We have a limited to no contact on-boarding process to make finding work easy!
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, and surfaces
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all assigned areas
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly
- Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Cleaning restrooms including sinks, toilets, and mirrors
- Dusting and wiping down furniture and fixtures
- Window and glass cleaning to maintain a spotless appearance
- Reporting maintenance issues such as leaks or broken fixtures
- Following safety procedures and using cleaning chemicals properly
- Performing seasonal or deep cleaning as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous janitorial experience
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 20 pounds
- Teamwork, Coordination, Dependability
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
