Job Description
Team1Medical is seeking a Medical Laboratory Tech to assures that care is delivered to all patients within established legal, ethical, laboratory and hospital guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Institute appropriate interventions according to department policy and procedure
- Facilitate patient flow and communicate relevant information to the appropriate health care providers, the patient and the family.
- Perform all laboratory procedure with accuracy.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- An Associate’s degree in a Chemical, Biological, Physical science or in medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution or equivalent with registration/eligible as a Medical Tec/ or equivalent; with current registration through one of the licensed agencies is preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of experience, education and with the eligibility for high complexity testing.
- Be a high school graduate or equivalent and have successfully completed an official military medical laboratory procedures course of at least 50 weeks duration and have held the military enlisted occupation specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician).
- Medical Technician (MLT) Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is preferred.

The base pay range for this position is $66,566-$83,200, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
