Job Description
A growing national company seeks a motivated Inside Sales, Lead Generation Specialist to drive new sales opportunities. This role involves lead generation, proposal creation, and relationship-building to support National Sales Managers. Ideal candidates are quick learners with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming calls to develop and convert new shred service sales opportunities
- Develop good business relationships with potential customers; work closely with the outside-shred sales team
- Maintain working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Set appointments, timely follow up on leads, and create proposals as needed for all shred services offered
- Possess in-depth shred-services product knowledge to be able to generate client interest and respond to client objections
- Understand the needs of each sales lead and match them with the products or services offered by the company
- Research, track, maintain and update leads and sales through the use of corporate CRM
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of inside sales experience (customer service, proposal development, and closing deals)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- A high level of personal integrity
- High School or Equivalent
- Proven success rate at levels above quotas
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to type at a proficient level
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, sales management and CRM software

The base salary for this position is $50,000/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
