Their Council Bluffs office is currently seeking a full-time and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their dedicated team. Your Experience as the Legal Assistant:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required)
- Paralegal experience (Preferred), with at least 2 years of experience preferred
- Experience in estate planning and probate work (Preferred), with at least 2 years of experience preferred or recent graduate of legal studies
- Familiarity with Iowa estate planning and probate processes
- Ability to handle some Nebraska cases related to Iowa near Council Bluffs
What Matters Most as the Legal Assistant:
- Pay range $21.50-$24/hour
- Direct Hire opportunity

- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Your New Role as the Legal Assistant:
As a Legal Assistant at our Council Bluffs office, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Drafting estate planning, estate, and trust documents for attorney review.
- Preparing and filing probate documents.
- Confidently interacting with clients, colleagues, and attorneys.
- Providing general administrative support to the legal team as needed.
