Job Description
As a Legal Assistant at our Council Bluffs office, you will provide essential support to our legal team by drafting estate planning, estate, and trust documents, preparing and filing probate documents, and confidently interacting with clients and attorneys
Responsibilities:
- Drafting estate planning, estate, and trust documents for attorney review.
- Preparing and filing probate documents.
- Confidently interacting with clients, colleagues, and attorneys.
- Providing general administrative support to the legal team as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Required)
- Paralegal experience (Preferred), with at least 2 years of experience preferred
- Experience in estate planning and probate work (Preferred), with at least 2 years of experience preferred or recent graduate of legal studies
- Familiarity with Iowa estate planning and probate processes
- Ability to handle some Nebraska cases related to Iowa near Council Bluffs

The base salary range for this position is $20.00–$24.00 per hour excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
