Die Cut Operorator
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator in Washington Court House. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a food packaging production environment. Your duties will include adjusting, cleaning, and lubricating the press to achieve successful printing operation, as well as performing all regular daily, weekly, or monthly maintenance for presses and other pressroom equipment in compliance with either the manufacturer’s suggestions or the Printing Department’s determined schedule.

- Train on 1st Shift: Monday – Friday 8 am – 4 pm then after training move to 2nd or 3rd Shift

Machine Operator Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain correct pressure and registration between plates and ink to obtain a clean, clear impression of the material being printed.
- Inform the Supervisor of the need for additional materials, inks, and other supplies.
- Inspect work in progress and finished materials to ensure the quality standards and accuracy of printing is being maintained.
- Resolve technical problems with presses, inks, while informing the supervisor of equipment problems.
- Communicate with other department operators to ensure the product is within specifications for required equipment.
Machine Operator Skills and Experience:
- High school is mandatory. College, vocational school, specialized trade education, or previous on-the-job training should be considered as an asset.
- Understand and follow written and verbal instructions while meeting department goals with quality standards.
- Knowledge of various power tools and various equipment to perform as needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening.
