Job Description
Join a skilled team as a Machine Operator I in the Machine Center Department. You will operate CMC machines to produce high-quality parts while adhering to safety, ISO, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate one or more CMC machines as required.
- Read and interpret CMC prints and dimensions to .000.
- Use tools such as calipers, air guns, wrenches, and drill presses.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including quality and inspection forms.
- Understand and utilize machine controls, including start, stop, and emergency stop.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Technical Skills: Ability to read calipers and interpret technical documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in mathematical concepts to ensure precision.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with computers to support job functions.
