Job Description
Work with a leading provider of advanced drilling solutions as a CNC Machinist in Conroe, TX. This temp-to-hire role involves setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, validating machine programs, and interpreting blueprints. You’ll use your expertise with Fanuc and Haas controls to run multiple machines and inspect finished workpieces while adhering to safety protocols. Enjoy initial training on the day shift before transitioning to overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, Vertical, Horizontal, and Boring Mills.
- Validate and adjust machine programs for accurate operation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Inspect finished workpieces using various tools to ensure quality.
- Utilize Fanuc and Haas controls for machine operation.
- Run multiple machines simultaneously while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC machine experience.
- Proficiency with CNC Mills, including Fanuc and Haas controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
- Experience with CNC Vertical, Horizontal, and Boring Mills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
