Extrusion Maintenance Manager

Salary: $75,000 DOE
A privately owned company in the Wylie area is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team.
As A Member of This Team:
- Oversee the maintenance operations during the night shift, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Develop and manage work schedules for maintenance staff on the assigned shift.
- Conduct and participate in safety meetings to maintain a safe working environment.
- Address and report any employee or production issues to upper management as they arise.
- Directly supervise maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support.
- Assist the manager with various production-related duties and maintenance planning.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment in the area are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, rebuild, and maintain plant equipment as needed.
You Will Need:
- 4+ years of experience in maintenance management, with a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy industrial machinery.
- Must have EXTRUSION experience
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a production environment.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to minimize process interruptions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
