Maintenance Mechanic–Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $32.24 – $39.52 based on qualifications and experience
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Hours: 2nd Shift 2:30pm-10:30pm & 3rd Shift 10:30pm-6:30am positions available (training will take place on 1st Shift 6am-2pm)
The Maintenance Mechanic ensures reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventative maintenance on machines and systems. Will also diagnose, repair, and calibrate machines and equipment to include all mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic components and controls.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work safely and in compliance with company policies
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders
- Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts
- Assembles, installs, adjusts, and calibrates mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
- Maintain documents and records
Requirements:
- Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints, shop routings and specific engineering notes related to unique customer specifications
- Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to team members
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
