Job Description
Play a critical role in maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the sites as a Maintenance Technician for one of the top property management companies in Omaha, NE. This position requires hands-on maintenance, coordination of programs, and delivering excellent customer service to residents. You'll ensure the property is running smoothly and is ready to meet inspection standards.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and perform major, minor, and routine maintenance in a timely manner
• Organize, coordinate, and manage the overall maintenance program
• Work on interior and exterior property appearance and ensure quality make-ready programs
• Collect vendor bids and create cost-effective inventory control for the property
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and perform effective emergency maintenance
• Prepare for city, state, and government inspections
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Must have own basic tools or be willing to obtain required hand tools
• General maintenance experience, including appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge
• Ability to tolerate extreme hot and cold weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening
