Job Description:
You will be responsible for maintaining extrusion and rewind equipment in a high-volume fabric manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves conducting routine preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and providing timely repairs to both mechanical and electrical systems. You will collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to avoid production delays. Additionally, you will manage spare parts inventory and ensure that safety standards are adhered to during all maintenance activities. Your proactive approach will help maintain the efficiency and longevity of the equipment, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Operate power tools, drills, saws, grinders, cut-off saws, mills, and lathes.
- Repair and calibrate electrical heat controls.
- Maintain AC and DC motor drives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2-3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Proficient in MIG Welding.
- Experience with AC/DC motor drives.
- Strong tool handling and mechanical skills.
