Job Description
An industrial maintenance technician is a skilled worker responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment within a manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth operation by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and making necessary repairs to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, all while adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly responds to Production line calls so Production personnel know the status of their machinery and repairs.
- Operates machinery in order to test their performance
- Troubleshoots and repairs Production department electrical equipment
- Adjusts functional parts of machinery and control equipment to make them work more efficient
- Dismantles machinery to gain access to and remove/repair defective part
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires a two-year certificate from a college or technical school in Electrical Maintenance Technician, Mechatronics, or equivalent program, OR high school diploma with three to five years of related experience specifically with safety, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC programming 3+ years progressive experience in Human Resources administration and activities, with experience in a plant environment (required)
- It is essential to have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situation
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen & background screening

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
