Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team for a 1 to 2-year assignment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role is critical to ensuring equipment uptime and operational efficiency by performing diversified maintenance duties while adhering to safety and predictive maintenance protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general preventative maintenance procedures for plant operations while adhering to plant safety protocols
- Conduct daily maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing, industrial cleaning, and operating driver sweeper machines
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.
- Utilize mechanical skills, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair functions
- Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks as required
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams, machine drawings, and electrical schematics. Familiarity with centrifugal pumps, air diaphragm pumps, and automated valves
- Forklift experience and certification preferred. Ability to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot PLC issues
- Experience with overhead cranes, air compressors, and boilers is a plus
- Welding experience is helpful
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with independent judgment
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship program, or equivalent technical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of industrial plant maintenance experience

The base pay range for this position is $30-$32hr, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
