Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs in industrial, commercial, or residential settings. This role ensures that equipment and facilities are running smoothly and efficiently through regular inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery, and systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, then repair or replace defective parts to restore equipment to proper working condition.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and systems to identify and address potential problems before they occur.
- Repair and maintain buildings, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including descriptions of issues, solutions, and dates of repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure that all work is conducted according to local regulations and company policies.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, or other emergency situations to minimize downtime.
- Work closely with other departments (such as production, safety, and management) to prioritize maintenance tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Basic handyman skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and possess communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment screening

The base salary range for this position is $31,200, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
