Mammography Technologist
- Utilized equipment which produces ionizing radiation to obtain radiographs for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Rotation through general diagnostic radiography using fluoroscopic and/or digital radiography systems and/or conventional radiography units utilizing CR technology as well as DEXA bone density studies and performance of stereotactic guided biopsies may be required depending on location.
- Used the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and designated PACS system for stereo tactic and DEXA studies.
- Completion of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and 40 hours of mammography training.
- Must have high school diploma or GED is required.
- ARRT and MRT certifications are required.
- BCLS certification is required.
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with no weekends to offer a good work/life balance.
