Title Management Analyst II
Pay Rate: $23.00
Location: NRG Stadium Area
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm
The City of Houston Health and Human Services Department is looking for an Management Analyst II to assist their team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for Human Services administration. Collaborate with Division Manager, Financial and Management analysts to develop annual budget and budget amendments as needed. Collect, review and track timesheets for staff to include temps, interns.
- Monitor contract and purchase order balances
Create invoice logs and transmittal sheets for monthly invoice submittals to accounts payable. Assist in tracking of vendor payments in the city of Houston financial system-SAP.
Follow up with Business Management accounts payable staff regarding payment disbursements. - File final approved invoice documents and follow up with Aging/ADRC management team, when applicable. Assist with quarterly reporting reconciliations and updates, as requested.
- Develop and maintain filing and tracking system for contractor/vendor information to include special initiatives and/or other administration documents.
- Maintain records for contractor/vendor to include award letters, budget information, risk
assessments, audit exceptions and/or technical assistance notices. - Attend monthly staff meetings.
List Qualification or Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance or a field directly related to the job
- EXPERIENCE: Two years of professional experience in accounting, budget analysis, finance, public administration or a field directly related to the job are required.
- A Master's degree in a field directly related to the job may substitute for two years of the above experience requirement.
