Job Description
The Manager of IT Disaster Recovery and Incident Management is responsible for ensuring the resilience and recovery of IT systems in a large retail organization. This role involves overseeing disaster recovery planning, incident response coordination, and continuous improvement of recovery processes to minimize business disruption. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and expertise in IT infrastructure and crisis management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage IT disaster recovery plans in alignment with business continuity strategies
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve IT disruptions effectively
- Conduct regular disaster recovery tests, scenario-based exercises, and post-incident evaluations to enhance preparedness
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to improve system resilience and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years of experience in IT project management, disaster recovery planning, and incident response
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, compliance regulations, and recovery methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations

The base salary range for this position is $130K – $145K, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
