Job Description
Join a dynamic team in Torrington, CT, as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical components. You will work with engineering drawings, select appropriate materials and tools, and ensure precision in the assembly process. Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and follow engineering drawings and blueprints for equipment fabrication
- Select materials and tools, planning the sequence of tasks for efficient assembly
- Assemble and install components with precision and attention to detail
- Document production and quality processes using required forms
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company policies
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong manual dexterity with the ability to push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, protractors, and rulers
