Job Description:
Lead and inspire a team of talented designers in a hands-on leadership role. As the Mechanical Design Lead, you’ll oversee the development of mechanical designs for large fabricated cabinets and tooling fixtures, ensuring manufacturability and quality. Work closely with operations and manufacturing to prioritize and deliver projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and guide a team of designers supporting multiple projects.
- Approve and enhance designs for tooling, test stands, and large component layouts.
- Collaborate with operations and manufacturing to optimize designs for production.
- Maintain design standards and ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience.
- SolidWorks proficiency and expertise in machining processes.
- Experience with stress/load calculations, gears, bearings, seals, and hydraulic fittings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
