Job Description:
This role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, automation, and life safety systems. The technician will also provide support for mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and assist in the fabrication, installation, and repair of equipment. Additionally, the position includes performing minor building repairs, responding to emergencies, and ensuring proper housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Apply building automation controls and basic programming to mechanical systems; perform service repairs and upgrades on automation systems.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, electrical systems (up to 480V), and life safety systems (fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, sprinklers, etc.).
- Perform repairs and inspections on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and major equipment (air, gas, vacuum systems, conveyors, etc.).
- Provide support for processing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems; assist in fabrication, installation, and repair of mechanical products.
- Respond to after-hours emergencies, perform minor repairs on building structures and furnishings, and maintain equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in facilities or plant management engineering.
- At least 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in similar facilities.
- Proficiency in mechanical aptitude, trades mathematics, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- PC proficiency (Word processing, spreadsheets).

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
