- Record patients’ vitals.
- Record and maintain updated patient records.
- Sterilize medical instruments.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect co-payments.
- Provide patient care functions for an assigned clinical area.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards.
- Some duties may be delegated to the Medical Assistant by the physician or Registered Nurse
- Complete Medical Assistant program an accredited Medical Assistant program or school is required.
- Experience working within a Pediatric or Family Practice clinic is required.
- Must have the willingness to float between locations.
- Athena knowledge is a plus.
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m and one Saturday per month
