A well-known Houston area oil and gas company is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team to assist with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of network infrastructures!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN) and voice communications.
- Provide top-tier customer service and support IT infrastructure projects.
- Administer and maintain network monitoring solutions, corporate firewalls, and enterprise NAC solution.
- Troubleshoot network-related incidents and collaborate with other IT teams for timely project implementation.
- Ensure high availability and business-critical function support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- TWIC card is required.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting computer and network systems.
- Network certification (CCNA/JNCIA or greater) is required.
- Knowledge in connecting WAN technologies, networking protocols, routing protocols, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), and network monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Splunk, etc).
- Must be able to work in Houston, as well as Freeport, TX, as needed.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
