Job Description
A prominent healthcare organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech to join their Medical Center team. Being a Nuclear Medicine Tech for this organization will require you to prepare radioactive materials and administer them to patients for imaging and treatment. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine imaging procedures including Nuclear Cardiology, dynamic flow studies, and SPECT according to policies and procedures established by the nuclear physician
- Administer radioactive materials to patients and routinely charge patient exams
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- An associate degree from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program is required
- Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required; experience working in a Cariology clinic is highly preferred
- A valid and current license to practice nuclear medicine is required
- Strong attention to detail, written and communication, and critical thinking skills are required
