DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials, with expertise in modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
- Proven experience in a business analyst or similar role, preferably within a finance department.
- Strong accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles, month-end close processes, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Solid understanding of financial systems and how they integrate with accounting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, FRS, BI Publisher).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials and/or Oracle Cloud EPM upgrades and implementations.
- Familiarity with tax, audit, and compliance regulations as they relate to financial systems.
- Strong Excel skills.
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As an Oracle Cloud Financials Business Analyst, you will need a deep understanding of Oracle Financials modules, financial processes, and best practices. Using your blend of technical expertise and business acumen, you will drive the implementation, optimization, and support of Oracle Cloud Financials solutions across the organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Oracle Cloud Financials Reimplementation & Support
- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, etc.).
- Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Work closely with the technical team to resolve issues, enhance system performance, and deliver system improvements.
- Business Process Improvement
- Analyze, design, and implement financial processes that align with business needs and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements within Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Cloud EPM
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment on system capabilities and business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Oracle Cloud Financials/EPM functionality and best practices.
- Create detailed documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and training materials.
- Reporting & Data Analysis
- Develop and maintain financial reports using Oracle reporting tools such as OTBI, FRS, and BI Publisher.
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making and business forecasting.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting.
